Shame and Cheeseburgers
 by Fëanor

  • I'm going to the stellastarr* show tonight at 8 at the TLA (check out my preview on Phillyist), and I have an extra FREE ticket. Apparently most of you already have tickets, but if there's anybody who still doesn't and is interested, let me know.

  • Wow, Nicolas Cage is a crazy hardcore geek. He named his kid Kal-el. Seriously.

  • My generation loves Mario. It's something we all just have to stop fighting. A while ago, I went on a harangue against Mario and Nintendo's obsession with him, but since then I've mellowed, and come to accept him as my personal savior. You will, too, after you've read this astute and well-written argument for Mario as Buddha (via Yagathai), and listened to this rocking Mario musical performance (via Sarcasmo).

  • I didn't listen to the interview they link to here, but I found it amusing when Cinematical mentioned that the screenplay for the new Wallace and Gromit movie did include lines of dialogue for the titular canine, not because he starts talking in this one (God forbid), but just in order to give the animators an idea of what expression to put on the pooch's face.

  • Nnnnnnnnooooooooo! This quiz result (via sarcasmoscorner) is like a knife in my back!

    Robin
You scored 88% Intelligence, 88% Courage, 87% Selflessness, and 88% Aggressiveness!
You're pretty much just a normal guy in some disturbingly effeminate tights! Get to work on building yourself up some more, and maybe someday you'll make it as a superhero on your own!

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:
