Reheated Chicken Livers
 by Fëanor

  • I seem to remember reading a less than stellar review of at least one part of this movie, but the trailer for Three...Extremes is pretty fantastic. Three great Asian directors getting together to make three short horror films...I'm excited about this one. It apparently was supposedly already released here, but probably only in New York or something. I'll have to catch on DVD at some point.

  • Joystiq of some hot Nintendo gear that I now covet, and will probably never have. Sigh.

  • I don't remember reading about Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain before, but now that I have, I'm intrigued. And looking over his filmography on IMDB, I see Lone Wolf and Cub listed as one of his future projects. Holy crap awesome!!1!

  • I actually have generally found myself disappointed by Hong Kong action films (I think it's the melodrama and childish sense of humor that turns me off), but I'm still kind of intrigued by this post about the best in Hong Kong action. I've heard a lot of good things about Infernal Affairs, so maybe it's worth a watch. Anybody with more knowledge/love of Hong Kong films want to make a comment on this?

  • Today the indietits teach us about the dangers of drop bears and Wikipedia. God bless their tiny hollow bones.

  • Another frightening rumor about the PS3: it might not play used games. Suck!!!

I really can't imagine this is for real, though. Why would they destroy all the possible revenue from rentals?

  • Soundwave a helicopter?! Aw, man. I don't know about this Transformers movie.

  • Joystiq points us towards this "review" (it's really more of an academic analysis) of the Gameboy Advance game WarioWare (which I played once thanks to Peccable, and recently picked up cheap at the KB). I haven't had time to read the entire thing (it's quite long!), but what I've scanned over is quite interesting and insightful, so I thought I'd pass it on to you folks.
