On the Viewer - Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Episode 14 - "Defenders of Peace")
 by Fëanor

Aw, man. The poor lemur people are going to get pulled into the war. I knew this was going to happen.

Hey, the Separatist leader in this episode is voiced by George Takei! Cool.

The Battle Droids are so excited that there's a weapon that destroys organic material but leaves machines behind... but none of them really wants to volunteer for the test. Funny!

Good save, Secura, pulling that Clone Trooper out of the way of the defoliating wave! I was actually really afraid for those poor Clone Troopers. You wouldn't figure you'd get too attached to a bunch of clones, but they're actually the best characters in the whole series.

Man, Battle Droids are dumb. I do love watching Jedi mowing through them.

This is actually a pretty moving and effective episode. The lemur people are sympathetic and interesting.

Nice work Anakin, taking out the new weapon. Separatist leader: "Help, I'll be defoliated!" I like the way the lemurs and Ahsoka worked together to take out the last droids, too. I also like that they didn't exactly change the old lemur guy's mind. He admits that perhaps thanks are in order, but wonders, "At what cost?"

This was probably the best episode in a while. Strong and exciting action, moving drama, a slightly ambiguous and vaguely complex ending, and they wisely did not focus too much on dialogue or on the Jedi characters (who are boring and lame).
