The latest insanity from Alan Keyes. Keyes is the crazy dude the Republicans run whenever they know they can't win a race. Right now he's spectacularly losing the Senate race in Illinois. God bless him. If only Bush could follow his lead and do something that's just totally and obviously insane and hateful. Like eat a baby on live TV. Or, you know, maybe something a little less extreme.
But enough about religious extremist, right-wing nut jobs.
Game Day is fast approaching (it's this Saturday!), and I am getting nervous and excited. I'm afraid I won't be able to enjoy the games because I'll be worried too much about fitting as many in as possible and setting it up so that everybody can play what they want to play. But I'm going to try to take some deep breaths and just relax and have fun.
Speaking of having fun, I played more Soul Calibur II and more Knights of the Old Republic last night. Those are some great games. KotOR in particular is just awesome. So I think it might be time for me to finally go ahead and start playing RPGs. I might even have to dig all the way back into the past and play some of the old original Final Fantasy games.
Btw, how the heck are you supposed to write the titles of games--board, video, or otherwise? I can't decide if I should put them in quotes, or italicize them, or what. |
