Thanks muchly to Sarcasmo for this link (warning--this is a big quicktime movie and takes a while to download). It's pretty damn amazing. John Stewart uses his appearance on Crossfire to do something serious--totally rip into the entire political/media apparatus, and the guys at Crossfire in particular. It's thrilling and shocking and totally fantastic. They don't have a chance against him, and ultimately seem to cut the show off just so he can't talk anymore.
On a slightly different note, I'm heading over to my parents' soon to watch football on their widescreen HDTV. The Eagles are to wreak their terrible revenge against the hated Panthers for keeping them from the Super Bowl last year. Aww, yeah.
Then it's over to Manayunk to watch Genesis videos. Kind of a big shift. I was hoping I'd get a chance to play KotOR at some point, too, but it's not looking like it. I'm really loving that game. You can play this cool card game inside the game to win money. And you can also win money fighting in the duelling ring for one of the Hutts. And that stuff is just incidental to the main game, in which you fight the Sith and eventually become a Jedi and build your own lightsaber and stuff. Hoo boy. |
