For your interest, if you have not yet seen it, the trailer for Tim Burton's new film version of Willy Wonka, starring my boy, Johnny Depp (thanks to Yagathai for the link).
I was hoping that there would be an official DVD release of the totally awesome Cartoon Network Clone Wars cartoons, and lo and behold, today I receive in my electronic mail a link to the press release announcing just this. Unfortunately the disc won't be out until March of next year. But it's coming out, and that's the important thing. The press release also mentions that the next group of episodes (or "season") in the Clone Wars microseries will be premiering on Cartoon Network a day before the DVD is released. There will be fewer episodes in this next group, but they'll also be longer. Sweet.
I could talk about what giant cocks GWB and his servant The Rumsfeld are being lately, but what's the point? We all know they're giant cocks already, and thinking about it just makes me angry and frustrated. It's better to smother myself in comforting layers of Star Wars and gaming and coding. Mmm...dice...
UPDATE: Another bit of stale news one or two of you may not have heard somehow: B5 movie! Woo hoo! Oh, and uh, no, I don't know who Steven Beck is, either. He has one movie to his name on the IMDB. Anyway, our man JMS wrote it, so hopefully this Beck guy won't be able to f it up too badly. |
