Eggs Is Eggs
 by Fëanor

  • The funnest fake Nintendo Revolution controller mock-up I've seen yet. (Via Digg)

  • And speaking of upcoming next gen console controller mock-ups, check out these cool alternate designs that Joystiq readers sent in for the PS3 controller. They're all pretty awesome - funny, clever, and imaginative. I'm not as against the current "boomerang" design as so many other people seem to be, but it's still fun to dream of what might be.

  • Wow. This sucks, and totally came out of nowhere: Chris Penn was found dead yesterday. The cause of death is currently unknown, but the police do not suspect foul play. I'm thinking a heart attack, maybe brought on by hard living, but it's not like I know the guy. I liked him as an actor, though, and I'm sad to see him gone. (Via Cinematical)

  • West Virginia is installing Xbox Dance Dance Revolution games in all of its public schools as part of its physical education curricula, and in an attempt to combat childhood obesity, which is a serious problem in the state. This is crazy, and actually kind of cool. I hated it when they made us do the Electric Slide in my gym class, but dancing like a fool would probably have been at least a little more palatable to me if it had been foisted on me in video game form.

  • Step right up and see a picture of the world's smallest fish! Guaranteed to be smaller than any other fish known to man! (Via Digg)

  • A pretty handy dandy new theory of gravity dumps that crazy hypothetical dark matter idea in favor of a crazy hypothetical particle called a graviton. Apparently the theory successfully predicts and explains a lot of motion and phenomena that other theories don't handle so well (although, as rival scientists are quick to point out, it doesn't explain important stuff like the afterglow of the big bang...man, that sounds dirty). But...gravitons? Are they floating in the ether, too? I don't know, I think I'll wait for a better, cooler theory. (Via Digg)
