A/C not functioning correctly here at work, which results in my brain also not functioning correctly.
Hot. Sweaty. Uncomfortable. Ack...
But even under these conditions, I will bring you comic book movie news: Bruce Willis might play Nick Fury in a new movie. I think that'd be cool. He's grizzled and tough and a good actor (and also hotter than Mel Gibson, as the bloginator, his wife, poppy, and I discussed this weekend).
This article also mentions that David Hasselhoff once played Nick Fury in a TV movie. I had no idea. That's horrifying to me.
I did some stuff this weekend, and it was pretty cool. I don't have much to say about it.
Except, poppy and I got the new Foo Fighters album this weekend. It's pretty great, but the amount of copy protection on it is obscene. You have to use their own software/web page/player thingie to listen to it on your computer; it ejects itself if you don't agree to their terms; and if you try to listen to it with a different player, it skips around and doesn't play right. I mean, it's gotten to the point now where it's difficult for paying customers to actually listen to the music they buy. There's got to be a better way, people.
I'm planning on doing another game day later this month, because I haven't had one in a while, and because I want to have you all over to the new place. I'm thinking probably something like July 23rd. Let me know if this doesn't work for you--especially you, Cyn! I don't know when you're getting back from the West Coast, and when you're leaving again, but I want to make sure you make it to this game day, as we won't have you around much longer. :(
