Clone-a-rama
 by Fëanor

I know how some of you feel about the Clone Wars cartoons, but seriously, check out the second and final season, either on Cartoon Network's site, or starwars.com. These toons are action-packed, full of excellent character development, great humor, beautiful visuals, and fantastic feats. With animation, you can do so much more than is possible in live action, even with today's computer effects. The Jedi are so much more dynamic and impressive, capable of so much more amazing Force-powered acrobatics, and the droid army is so much more vast, their weapons and tanks so much more gigantic and lumbering and menacing.

Anyway, the series is over now, having completed its unprecedented task of filling in the story between two movies--Episode II and Episode III of the latest Star Wars trilogy. The final episode literally takes us right up to the opening credits of the next movie.

I think that in many ways, this cartoon has been better and more effective than the movies themselves, and the first season of the show is already on its way to me from Amazon.com (thanks, poppy!). So check out the last five episodes via those links above, before they take them down. They're totally worth it.
