| The All New, Disappointing Atom! |

After being really impressed and excited by The All New Atom #1-6, I have to say, I've been rather let down by The All New Atom #7-10. There are still some great gags involving the disembodied head that hangs around his apartment, but in general these short story arcs really feel like clumsy filler. The plots feel rushed, clunky, and unbelievable, and the dialogue and narration can get a bit corny and cliche. Not that it's all bad. I mean, there's still lots of clever, funny bits, and amusing moments of surreal insanity. I just hope things will pick up more in #11 and onward... |
