I didn't have time to do my usual thorough examination of the entire internet for this entry, but I figure I'll post what I have now and maybe add more later, we'll see.

• Artist Noelle Stevenson loves Tom Hiddleston as Loki and does lots of great drawings of him. Somebody gave him one or two of her drawings. He liked them.


• Some other great posts from Noelle: dancing, and the Avengers (the latter is Scott Campbell's work, not hers, but still).


• Cute animals via Blue and Bluer.


• Also, great Colbert reaction shot.


• Dude, the entire movie Commando can be watched for free on YouTube. The greatest cinematic feat of any generation!


• Great illustration of the new Captain Marvel by Evan "Doc" Shaner.


• A couple of fun recent pieces by Dan Hipp.


• The guy who did that Blair Witch-style super powers movie, Chronicle, is going to be in charge of a Fantastic Four reboot. Interesting!


• Some snazzy concept art for a 1950s greaser Batman.


• These are great: 10 really neat words that have no English equivalent.


• Fringe will have a fifth and final season that will wrap up the story. I haven't had a chance to watch this show at all for a while, but I'm glad it's going to get to have an ending. I'll definitely have to catch up one of these days.


• I've only had a chance to glance at it so far, but io9's multi-part list of the 100 albums every sci-fi and fantasy fan should listen to is looking very intriguing. I'm afraid it will make me want to buy tons more music!


• An ode to video games present and past: Go right.
