No, not necessarily. Ron Moore was only the show-runner for Caprica for the first few episodes, and handed over day-to-day control to Jane Espenson (who herself dropped out of the position in order to write more, so they brought in another guy whose name escapes me). 1) I was reading an interview with the writer Vladimir Nabokov that took place some time in the 1970s, when it somehow got on the subject of that scene in A Night At The Opera, at which point Nabokov recounted the scene exactly, mentioning who came in when and in which order, laughing the entire time. The interviewer asked Nabokov when he had last seen the movie, and VN said, "Oh, forty years ago or so."

2) My favorite part about the mirror gag in Duck Soup is that unlike a lot of those kind of gags (in cartoons or whatever), Groucho isn't really fooled by it, or at least not for very long; but he gets distracted by trying to outsmart Harpo, and eventually I think he just wants to see how long they can keep it going. But The Name of the Wind is ludicrously overrated; the writer spends the first three quarters of the book making a bunch of promises and the last quarter proving himself unable to keep them. I'm really baffled by people who like it.
